A SWAT team stormed a south Phoenix home on Tuesday morning, looking for a person who police say is linked to a deadly gang shooting from March.
Video from Air15 showed SWAT officers move into the house near 24th Street and Southern Avenue just before 7 a.m.
Police said they arrested 17-year-old Arkeem Coleman after they found him hiding in the attic.
Coleman is only 17 and he’ll be held in a juvenile detention center, but since he’s charged with first degree murder his legal issues will be handled in an adult court.
Coleman is also charged with aiding in a criminal activity for his alleged gang activity.
The suspect's mother, Earlene Armstrong, has also been taken into custody for harboring a fugitive, according to police.
“I think (police) are harassing my family and I’m ready for it to stop” said Schevette Suell, Coleman’s sister. “My mom has cancer and I wish they would just leave her alone.”
The alleged gang shooting that sparked the raid apparently happened on March 23rd.
Phoenix Detective Cindy Scott said it happened as 55-year-old Gilbert Leon was driving north on 16th Street.
At least one bullet went through the back window of his 2002 Chevrolet Impala at Broadway Road, striking him.

"This is just a tragic, tragic case, an innocent victim driving down the road may have been tragically shot in this confrontation," said Scott.
At the time, investigators said they thought Leon may have driven through an ongoing battle between other drivers when the shots were fired.
Leon's mother, Clemecia Leon said the family had closure after the arrest.
"It was good news. Very good news," she said. "At least he's going to be off the street. He's not going to be killing innocent people."
Leon's sister, Christina says he will be missed.
"It's very overwhelming in our family because we never expected our brother to die this way." "Never," she said.
